In one year alone, the world lost more than 27 million acres of tree cover—an area roughly the size of the state of Virginia. WWF needed a campaign to bring the scale and scope of the problem along with WWF’s plans for the solution to their mid-level donors.
The Amazon Go Big appeal for WWF aimed to raise awareness and critical funding to combat the rapid deforestation across the globe and most urgently in the Amazon Rainforest. As a metaphor for the grand scale of the issue and WWF’s ambitious goals, our unconventional mid-level donor direct mail effort was oversized and full-color. Partners in Conservation were called upon to “Go Big for the Amazon.”
This innovative campaign proved that higher value donors will be receptive to creative fundraising techniques and lifted revenue 13%!
